Position : Video Editor 

Working Schedule : 8am-5pm EST

Salary Range :$1,000-$1,500 USD Monthly (the final salary will be determined by the candidate's level of experience and at the discretion of the client)

The Role

We are seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented, and experienced Video Editor to join our production team. The ideal candidate has a strong narrative sense, a keen eye for visual aesthetics, and a proven ability to transform raw footage into high-quality, engaging video content that meets our brand standards and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, coherent, and compelling final videos for various platforms (e.g., social media, website, internal communications, broadcast).
  • Collaborate closely with the production team, content creators, and stakeholders to understand project scope, objectives, and brand guidelines.
  • Manage all aspects of post-production , including color correction, audio mixing/sound design, graphic integration (titles, lower thirds, motion graphics), and music selection.
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all edited material, adhering to technical specifications and delivery deadlines.
  • Maintain and organize a consistent file structure and media library for all ongoing and finished projects.
  • Offer creative input and solutions during the editing process to enhance the final product's storytelling and impact.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, editing software, and new video technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience 1-2 years of experience as a Video Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse editing projects.
  • Expert proficiency in professional video editing software. (Specify software here, e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, Affinity Suite).
  • Strong understanding of post-production workflows, video codecs, and file formats.
  • Excellent storytelling ability and a strong sense of pacing, timing, and rhythm.
  • Experience with motion graphics and visual effects software is highly desirable. (Specify software, e.g., Adobe After Effects).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

  • Proficiency in Blender Video Editing
