What You'll Do:
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
+ Monitor the location for unusual activity and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
+ Document security-related activities and incidents according to company and site requirements.
+ Assist personnel and visitors with security-related inquiries and directions as needed.
+ Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site staff to maintain a secure environment in a chemical and petrochemical location.
Minimum Requirements:
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
