Overview Part Time Van Delivery Driver – Gordon Food Service Store LLC Location: 5349 N Abbe Rd, Sheffield Village, OH, 44035-1449 Pay: $14-16/hr (based on experience). Hiring immediately. Gordon Food Service Stores offer a fast-paced retail environment with opportunities for development and advancement. Responsibilities Deliver products in a courteous, on-time, and accurate manner with a variable daily route; operate the van professionally and safely. Assist with store operations before or after completing the route. Accurately locate and pick orders in-store for Wholesale customers. Build and maintain good customer relationships and ensure timely deliveries of GFS products. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment. Process customer purchases at point of sale and ensure assets are secure by following policies and procedures. Receive and merchandise products with proper rotation, planogram execution, top stock, freezer, cooler, and backroom organization. What the day-to-day looks like Delivery: accurate picking and delivery; customer satisfaction through timely service. In Store: ensure efficient POS processing and asset security. Qualifications At least 1 year of delivery driving experience; 1 year in customer service or related field preferred. Unrestricted Standard Operator’s License required. Clean driving record (no drug or alcohol offenses in the last 5 years). Minimum 18 years old. Successful pass of pre-employment checks including drug screen, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report (MVR). Ability to use a two-wheel cart with a load up to 350 pounds and lift up to 70 lbs.
