Job Description
Furniture warehouse associate required to fulfill the position of maintaining and storing high end furniture for a custom ordered furniture showroom.
Heavy lifting and moving of furniture is a non negotiable requirement.
Pick up and deliveries are required from time to time.
A clean valid regular drivers license is a requirement, no exceptions.
Candidate must be neat, presentable, speak, read and write English.
Valid work authorization a requirement.
Non Smoker.
Forklift experience is required or can be taught.
Must be able to take direction from a supervisor.
Candidate must be able to understand consequences of his actions.
Candidate must be safety conscience.
Individual is required to maintain a neat appearance and adhere to company policy dress code, as they will be engaging with clients on deliveries and be working in the showroom from time to time.
Handling and knowledge of basic tool operation, to assist in furniture assembly is a requirement.
Must be cautious and respectful in the handling of high value items.

We are looking for a energetic and enthusiastic personality. Your duties would be two fold, primarily focused on managing the showroom and assisting senior sales staff with consulting, orders, follow up and ultimately sales, primarily to Interior Designers with some retail customers. You will be a very small team so general communication is in the best interests for you to succeed in your position with the company. As crucial support to our senior sales team members, dealing with clients in the best interest of customer service. Everything starts with a successful sale! Without a sale nothing else can occur so, our company philosophy is customer service first, all else second. Commission earnings may be implemented, if there is competency in being a self starter, accuracy for details and evident determination, to increase sales and have the best interests of the company at heart.
