About the job

As a Lead Technician, you will be responsible for the installation & troubleshooting of low voltage systems. You will be on site from start to finish of projects. The lead Technician serves as a role model to the organization with their professionalism, learning mindset, conduct, personal effectiveness, strategic thinking that respects all people.

Lead Technician Job Responsibilities

Installing Access Control, Door Entry, CCTV, Intrusion, and Fire Alarm Systems.

Ability to program, or learn various systems.

Tests equipment and verifies signals to ensure proper performance of systems.

Verify signals to new & existing monitoring accounts.

Manages materials, tools, and company equipment.

Reads and interprets wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer manuals.

Complies fully with the safety programs of ATI and the customer.

Participates in the on-call rotation.

Positively represents ATI to customers with consistent professionalism.

You will be working with the project manager to assure schedules are kept & labor demands are met.

All other duties as assigned

Field Service Technician Minimum Qualifications

Hold a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.

5+ years of experience in the commercial sector installing/servicing equipment, including Access Control, CCTV, Networking, Intrusion & Fire Alarm Systems.

Required to be punctual to all work locations and complete scheduled service calls in a timely manner.

Working knowledge of UL certification requirements, testing, documentation and service.

Ability to read Blueprints and utilize manufacturer manuals and technical support.

Ability to be on the On-Call rotation throughout the year including a minimum of one holiday per year, one week at a time (number of weeks within a year are dependent on the number of individuals in the rotation).

Work together as a team to achieve goals/tasks.

Have the ability to work OT.

Have impeccable attendance record.

Candidate must be motivated, be a self starter & understand the sense of urgency in emergency cases.

No DUI/DWI on driving record in the last 8 years

Preferred Qualifications

NICET Certification

Computer/Networking Experience

Power Limited Technician (PLT) Licensed or willingness to receive PLT License within 6 months of employment

Flexibility to work out-of-town during the week

Physical, Mental And Environmental Requirements.

Ability to complete ladder work, operate scissor and boom lifts, move boxes, and lift, up to 50lbs.

Reaching, grasping and carrying activities also required.

Moderate noise level in the work environment.

Although most work is performed inside, occasional outside activities are subject to seasonal temperature fluctuations.
