Overview We’re seeking a Bilingual Tax CPA to lead our U.S. tax operations while collaborating with our Puerto Rico tax and accounting teams. This is a strategic, year-round leadership role for a proactive CPA who thrives in a collaborative, high-volume environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional client service. Responsibilities Lead with Impact : Manage a team of 4+ U.S.-based tax professionals to ensure high-quality tax preparation, compliance, and strategic planning. Cross-Regional Collaboration : Work with our Puerto Rico tax team and accounting professionals across the U.S. and Puerto Rico to ensure seamless coordination and data accuracy. Client Relationship Management : Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, clearly communicating tax strategies and proactively addressing questions and concerns. Strategic Tax Oversight : Oversee all aspects of U.S. tax compliance and planning, with awareness of Puerto Rico tax implications for cross-jurisdictional clients. Sales & Service Alignment : Partner with the Sales Team to structure service contracts and tax-saving strategies tailored to client needs. Performance & Reporting : Monitor team KPIs, generate performance reports, and lead quarterly reviews to drive continuous improvement. Client Support Partnership : Collaborate with the Customer Success Manager to resolve tax notices and client inquiries efficiently. Innovation & Planning : Work with the CEO to develop forward-thinking tax strategies that reduce liabilities and enhance client outcomes. Qualifications CPA license (required) and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and leadership within a U.S.-based public accounting firm. Fluency in English and Spanish — both written and verbal — is essential. Strong understanding of U.S. tax codes and familiarity with Puerto Rico tax regulations is a plus. Proven ability to lead teams, delegate effectively, and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
