We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join a dynamic construction company in Englewood, Colorado. This is a contract position where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial processes and ensuring accuracy in reporting. The role requires a strong background in accounting practices and proficiency in tools such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:
• Manage month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to support organizational financial health.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
• Handle account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as they arise.
• Post and review journal entries to maintain the integrity of financial records.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between internal records and external statements.
• Utilize QuickBooks, including QuickBooks Enterprise, to manage accounting tasks and streamline processes.
• Leverage Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and generate reports.
• Support financial statement audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance accounting workflows and improve efficiency.• Proven experience in accounting, with a focus on month-end close and general ledger management.
• Strong knowledge of financial statement audits and account reconciliation practices.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, including QuickBooks Enterprise, and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to prepare and post journal entries with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies effectively.
